Dan Alton

Dan's resume includes titles like Chief Marketing Officer, Creative Director, Art Director, Illustrator, Exhibit Designer, and Graphic Designer.

 

Over 30+ years he has led teams responsible for branding and creative work in every medium imaginable, serving businesses from local startups to national brands—including 8 years running the agency he and his partner founded.

 

He has served as the CMO of one of the nation’s largest CPA firms, as the Director of Creative Services for the University of Tennessee, and as a science museum exhibit designer for the U.S. Department of Energy.

 

A decorated veteran, Dan served in the U.S. Army in military intelligence followed by having too much fun riding around in National Guard helicopters.

 

The winner of numerous design and communication awards, Dan holds an M.S. degree in public relations and a B.F.A. in graphic design from the University of Tennessee.

 

He’s an “ok” pickleball player, a half-decent fisherman, and spends more time than he should shooting skeet and sporting clays when he’s not rebuilding old motorcycles.
